Logic & VMG took over The Wiltern last night for the Los Angeles stop of the While You Wait Tour. The RattPack was out in full force to support Young Sinatra, who has rapidly emerged as one of the best new artists in all of Hip-Hop. If you’re still sleeping on this guy, you will be woke real soon when he releases his Def Jam debut in the near future. After DJ Rhetorik worked up the crowd playing all the current hits, QuESt opened with a dope set that will surely put him on the radar of any unsuspecting listener. Logic then blessed the stage ripping through mixtape cuts while also spitting newer material like the recent bangers “Now” & “Alright”. Did I mention special guests? King Chip hit the stage for his “Two Kings” verse and also spit his verse from Kid Cudi’s “Just What I Am”. Next thing you know, HS87 bum rushed the stage 8-deep like the Wu-Tang Clan performing their latest smash “Grindin’ My Whole Life”. To cap it off, Dizzy Wright joined Logic to perform “Young Jedi” together for the first time. It was a very impressive showcase, as both Quest and Logic both proved why VMG is a force to be reckoned with in Hip-Hop. Special thanks to Team Visionary, Chris, Harrison & Sermon for the hospitality and hooking me up with the stage access, I had a blast!!
